Chesterfield Slump To Away Defeat

Chesterfield were without injured players Kev Dawson and Wayne Allison, both with thigh injuries for this clash which saw Chesterfield slump to their first defeat of the season. Dadi the scorer for Rovers in the first half pretty much sealed the game, as there was little threat from either team on goal.

The team was unchanged from last match which saw the Spireites gain a point away to Huddersfield earlier on in the week, with a 0-0 draw!

This result has prompted the Blues to slip into 10th place, currently on 4 points. Come the end of the season, I would be more than happy to see the Spireites occupy this space.

Chesterfield next face Colchester, where we will be hoping to put past scorelines behind us, this is a chance to pick up some more valuable 3 points! So everyone, get yourself off to Saltergate!!
