Royle’s Reaction: Millwall

Reaction from Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle following Town’s 2-1 win against bottom of the table Millwall earlier today.
Royle: “We fully deserved the three points and even when we were down to 10 men, we always looked the more likely to score, they scored a wonder goal but other than that, they hardly tested our 'keeper and I was delighted with our performance.
“Darren Currie turned in his best display for a while, Sito was excellent again and the two central defenders did well.
“Millwall's only real threat came I felt at set-plays so I told the players at half-time to stop giving away silly free-kicks and they did that.
“We played the better, more composed football and overall we've had a terrific start with 10 points from 15 and I'm delighted with that.”
