Jentzsch Linked
By Aston July 7 2008
Town are reportedly trying to sign Wolfsburg ‘keeper Simon Jentzsch from the Bundesliga side to become Town's next number one.
The 32-year-old German B International ‘keeper has been told he has no future at the German side and that was before the arrival of Swiss ‘keeper Diego Benaglio.

He has three years left on his current deal at Wolfsburg and that could be part of the reason they want him to leave as its reported they have stretched their budget by signing Andrea Barzagli and Cristian Zaccardo and placing them on high wages.

Jentzsch has already been linked with moves to Birmingham City, Rapid Vienna and Turkish sides Trabzonspor and Antalyaspor.

Elsewhere on the goalkeeping front former Ipswich Youth goalkeeper James Hollman is reportedly about to become Town's new goalkeeping coach and not Malcolm Webster as has largely been expected.
