JM: Be Patient
By Aston July 1 2008
Town manager Jim Magilton is urging Town fans to remain patient as he tries to add more players to his squad during the summer.
Town have so far made just two signings, Gareth McAuley from Leicester and Pim Balkestein from Dutch side Heerenveen which just about sorts the defence out although extra bodies will be needed to add depth in that department and while strikers like Shola Ameobi and Kevin Phillips are being linked with a move to Town not one has signed which is frustrating some fans but Jim is urging them to remain patient.

Jim: "We are continuing our search, but it is a case of making sure we sign the right player for Ipswich Town, it will pay to be patient."
