The first half on Town’s new pitch was a dull affair with out a shot on target from either side until the 24th minute when Legwinski fired from distance at Graham Stack.
Town did however take a 1-0 lead into the break as Gavin Williams got on to the end of an Alan Lee flick on before volleying home from 22 yards.
Neither side created much in the second half the only action worth talking about was that of the referees notebook, Alan Lee could have been sent off for elbowing Hayden Foxe, Kevin Nicholls was booked in the 83rd minute and sent off a minute later for something involving Owen Garvan.
They were calls for a second Leeds man to be sent off in the final minute when Healy brought down Gary Roberts when he was almost cleat though on goal but Healy got just a yellow.
