Legwinski got his second Town goal after he headed in a Matt Richards’ corner 20 minutes.
Town could have been out of sight before half time with Alex Bruce heading onto the bar, Legwinski powering the ball into the post and Billy Clarke had one effort saved by Marlon Beresford before hitting the rebound into the top of the bar.
The visitors had a goal ruled out soon after half time when Rowan Vine was offside when he had the ball passed to him.
Jaime Peters made it 2-0 soon after when he fired home Alan Lee’s header on, Lee himself made it 3-0 when he slotted the ball in from Legwinski’s pass.
Lee then made it 4 when Marlon Beresford failed to hang on to Danny Haynes’s effort and Lee was there to fire in the rebound, Town’s 5th and Lee’s 3rd came in the final minute when Gary Roberts was brought down in the box by Kevin Foley and the referee awarded Town a penalty which Lee converted sending the ball into the right of the goal while Beresford went the other way.
Then Lee got in on the act, slotting home into the bottom corner, adding his second goal from a corner and completing his treble from the spot.
