Town boss Jim Magilton paid tribute to his defence and 'keeper Shane Supple as well as hat-trick scorer Alan Lee after Blues' thrilling 5-0 win over Luton.
Jim: “The clean sheet pleased me as much, if not more so, than the goals.
“It's a real confidence booster for the back four and the goalkeeper and they deserve a lot of credit for their performance.
“The defence don't like taking the criticism they have done lately and have worked hard to put things right. As professional people, they want to get it right and every one of them did their jobs to the full.
“Luton had spells of possession but rarely threatened to open us up. One swallow doesn't make a summer but that performance is certainly something to build on.”
Alan Lee also got praise for scoring three of the 5 goals, with Jim adding: “He (Lee) does a lot of donkey work for the team that doesn't get noticed and I'm delighted for him.
“He's a centre-forward who wants to score goals and he's certainly in a rich vein of form at the moment and long may it continue.”
