Town slumped to a 5-1 defeat against West Bromwich Albion at Portman Road earlier today, Kevin Phillips getting a hat-trick.

Kamara got the first for the visitors on 29 minutes when his low and powerful shot went past Lewis Price, Town equalized 7 minutes later when Curtis Davies tackled Billy Clarke only for the ball to hit Chris Perry and go in.

 

Kevin Phillips was allowed a free header to make 2-1 in the 40th minute which is how it stayed until he scored his second goal of the game on 54 minutes when he headed in Gera’s cross.

 

Phillips then turned provider for Albion’s 4th goal when he set up Kamara who rounded Lewis Price to slot the ball home. Phillips completed his hat-trick with seconds to go when he found the back of the net from 20 yards.
