Report: Town 3-1 SAFC

Town climbed up to 8th in the Championship table after a 3-1 win against Roy Keane’s Sunderland earlier today.

The Black Cats took the lead thanks to an unlucky own goal from Town captain Jason De Vos in the 28th minute.

 

Town levelled the scored after just 4 minutes when Darren Currie found the back of the net with a free kick.

 

Alan Lee got the first of his two goals on 62 minutes when he managed to just find the net after heading the ball over Sunderland ‘keeper Ben Alnwick and he got his second just three minutes later after rounding Alnwick and slotting the ball home.

 

Sunderland lost Ross Wallace for the final few minutes after he received a second yellow card.
