Report: Town 0-0 Hull
By Aston August 19 2006
Town picked up their first point of the season following a 0-0 draw with Hull City at Portman Road yesterday.

It’s been a long time since I’ve reported on a 0-0 so I am not entirely sure how to do it, but here goes.

Town’s defence looked a bit more solid with Lewis Price back in goal and with Mark Noble and Simon Walton added to the midfield the back four had a little more protection but when a better side comes to Town we may become undone.

With three changes in the last 20 minutes Town looked like the team who would have nicked a goal but the Hull defence held firm and the game ended in a stale mate, despite Town having several corners and good chances in the final minutes.
