PMM: Wolves
By Aston August 8 2006
Reaction from Town manager Jim Magilton following Town’s 1-0 defeat away at Wolverhampton earlier tonight.

Jim: “I expected us to take the game to them in the second-half but that never happened and that is very disappointing, the players were given instructions to move the ball around the park and switch the play but it was 30 minutes into the second-half before we did that.

“We had too many players trying to win the game on their own and that's not good enough. It's not good enough for me and it shouldn't be good enough for the players.

“It's been a tough week and we know we have a lot of hard work ahead of us and that's what will happen on the training ground - hard work.”

Dean Bowditch did have a goal ruled out for offside but Jim is unsure of why it was given, adding: “I'm not sure what for. I'll have to look at it again on the video.

“We had the lifeline of the penalty as well but the 'keeper made a terrific save and he did well all night but we helped him. We hardly put a decent cross in.

“We have to pick ourselves up now for Saturday and Leicester and get on with it.”
