Enough is enough Alan. Fair enough that you want O'Neill as the next manager, but don't lie about the fans wanting him.

In your article today "Fulham bid to snatch O'Neill" you state that:

"When the Chronicle ran a poll in February as to who should replace Graeme Souness at St James' Park, O'Neill came out top."

This is a lie, you know it I know it but you won't publish the true results.

Thankfully we have services on the Internet that cache pages on external servers.

After your article today I had a look in these archives to see if any of them have a copy of the vote for the "Final 2" and I found one.

As you will see the poll clearly states the last 2 in the "vote off" as Guus Hiddink and Ottmar Hitzfeld.

You can't even pass this off as the "idiot minorities" (You know the ones with a brain) campaign to get Hitzfeld noticed as if that was true O'Neill would have made it to the last two.

Guus Hiddink and Ottmar Hitzfeld are world class managers, and according to our Chairman our managers job is one of the top 6 (Or is it 8) in the world. This is the sort of manager we should be appointing.

Not a manager who had some success with 2 diddy teams, and an okay time in a diddy league.

If I have any facts wrong Alan please feel free to email me, and by the way I am publishing this letter on the internet with the screen shots to make sure more Newcastle Fans are aware of your lies.
