Newcastle United have to face ZTS Dubnica from Slovakia in a two-legged third round tie of the Intertoto Cup. This shouldn't be a problem, but if we were to win the game, our likely semi-final opponents would be Deportivo La Coruna, who first take on Croatia's Slaven Kopirvnica.
All Newcastle have to do is beat ZTS Dubnica over the two legs which take place on Sunday and then the 23rd July, but if Deportivo too win their tie, Graeme Souness faces a tough test.
So what happens if we beat ZTS Debnica AND Deportivo? We could then face Marseille or Lazio in one of three Intertoto finals.
Newcastle desperately need to win one of these final in order to take part in this season's Uefa Cup.
Scott Parker will miss the Intertoto Cup.
