Zenden Interested In Newcastle Loan

Bolo Zenden's father and agent Pierre has claimed that his son would be interested in a loan move to St James' Park - if the Tyneside club wanted him. The winger is set to go out on loan again this season - but would we want him? Middlesbrough want to re-loan Zenden while Fenerbache are reportedly set to offer £3M for the player.

Speaking to the Sunday Sun though, Pierre Zenden said:

"He would like to play for Middlesbrough again. He had a great time there last season.

"He knows the most important thing for any player is to have a good relationship with a coach and he had that with Steve McClaren, who he has much respect for.

"But he also has great respect for Sir Bobby Robson and would be interested in Newcastle if they are interested in him.

"He has a contract with Chelsea for one more year, so maybe he stays at Middlesbrough for one more year - or goes somewhere else - on loan."

Would we really want him though? Is he better than our current wingers (looking at Robert, Ambrosem etc?) I think the answer is NO.  I may be wrong though...
