Newcastle host on the back of three consecutive wins from their last six games, having lost another two and drawn just once. Their win against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend put them up into 8th in the League ahead of the North London side. West Brom travel on the back of four draws, one win and one defeat from their last six and will be looking for three points this weekend to break into the top half of the table.
Newcastle will welcome back Mathieu Debuchy from suspension and Pardew has a fully fit squad (excluding Ryan Taylor) which is almost unheard of.
West Brom had expected to have Liam Ridgewell (calf), Billy Jones (hamstring), Scott Sinclair (hamstring) back but manager Steve Clarke has refused to confirm whether they will return or not, increasing speculation that they some if not all may not be fit in time for the game. Ben Foster (foot) is definitely unavailable.
Fact: Loic Remy has scored 8 goals in 8 games for Newcastle United.
Fact: West Brom have lost just once in 9 games.
Fact: Newcastle Utd and West Brom are the only 2 teams in the Premier League to have a 0 goal difference ahead of this weekend.

That's 8 minutes for the whole game - a game with no injuries to speak of
Nice win, and a good performance and workrate allround.. I have to say,
Williamson is gaining some respect from me (not that he really cares), but the lats couple of matches, he have done what he can. Dont take any chances, play some really intelligent football, and doesnt try to do anything stupid. If he is under pressuure, he plays the ball long to Ameobi. Its nice to see.
woot we are doing a grand job, let the good times roll. I do think the Swansea and Ma U games will be challenging to say the least but that's what the media thought of our last 4 games so there you go. I do feel as if we are only just away form a dodgy ref decision though, some of the refs atm are truly shocking imo, every ref there gets drawn for our matches draws a grown from me. Wor Shola
Williamson is slowly edging himself into being first choice cb and gouff is starting to show that he was a great buy.
Its great to finally have a midfield who are going to chip in with goals and have a few players on the pitch who are going to attack the ball at corners, two things we've been missing the last few seasons
Shola I feel that while there are players who can do better in his position that aren't unobtainable, he's doing the job that's asked of him well. Even if he still does still have his "Believe it or not" montage moments.
Despite these two players being what I would consider below average in terms of ability in the Premiership, they've shown that they can work to benefit the team.
Dare I say, Pardew is actually making some good tactical decisions in terms of defining the players roles?
