28. Geordie Lyall
The Saddlers completed the signing of Canadian born defender in December 2006 on a contract until the end of the season from Vancouver Whitecaps, after impressive trial spell at Bescot Stadium.
He spent the last eight seasons having progressed through their ranks from the University of Victoria. During his time with the Whitecaps the versatile Lyall picked up a number accolades including being named Vancouver’s Defender of the Year by the supporters club and also the Supporters Unsung hero award in 2005. He was also nominated as the United Soccer Leagues First Division Defender of the Year and was an ever-present as the Whitecaps claimed the Championship.
