I was really tempted not to bother writting this because I simply have very little to say regarding City's "performance". It was the biggest league defeat the Imps have suffered under Keith Alexander and it was nothing more than the performance deserved and no were really are in a relegation battle

I had the feeling Friday wasn't going to be a good day, not only getting there 15 minutes late (due to Ian taking the turning near Leicester), we could automatically see what was going to happen. There are few times I'm left speechless by a game but last night has quite frankly, left me stunned by easily the worst performance under Keith Alexander.

There will be several articles written in the next few days about certain players' recent lack of effort. However, it was the first time this season that we lost to the better team on the day. Cheltenham are a fantastic side with a squad that is capable of winning promotion and I am confident that they will do so, as for City, I'd be lying if I said I was confident.

"They've had 5 or 6 goals and scored from 4 of them" (maybe if we had a keeper that made an effort to get the ball then we wouldn't have this problem)

"I've been in football to know when things are going well for you, you take the plaudits and when things aren't going well, you take the critisism. I'm man enough to do that. One minute, you think you've got things right up front and the defence start conceeding goals, when you think you've got that right, the strikers don't score, it's been that type of season"
