2006/7 was another year of Playoff agony for the Imps, this time losing out to Bristol Rovers. That came despite Bristol Rovers never being above City in the table. City went out of all the clubs at the first opportunity, went top, were on Sky 5 times and played the best football in the division, it certainly wasn't a dull year.
