City make the trip to Whaddon Road on Friday night, hoping to break a 7 game run without a win against John Ward's men. After Tuesday's joke of a performance at MK Dons, Keith has promised changes to the squad, including new loanee signing, Richard Logan but will the rest pull their fingers out?

Well we'll start by saying the we hope the players put more effort in to the game at Cheltenham than they did at Milton Keynes on Tuesday night, but then again, putting more effort in would be something as simple as lifting a finger. Things aren't going particully well for City, 5 wins in 22 games this season says it all and we're looking over our shoulders towards the relegation zone, strangly enough however, we're "just" 6 points off the playoffs so if the players actually pull their finger out, we might actually stand a chance.

But then again....we NEVER beat Cheltenham

Dean Keates serves the last match in his ban but there will be a return for McAuley, who is back from international duty in midweek. Beevers is suspended following his booking at MK Dons meaning that McAuley will slot straight into his right back position. Loan signing Richard Logan will more than likely start the match but it's anyone's guess who he will replace, as all 3 of the main strikers have been quite poor in recent recents. Paul Mayo should continue at left back following one or two decent performances, infact, he was one of the few players to come out of Tuesday with any credit.

Since their single-shot victory at Sincil Bank, Cheltenham haven't had a great time in the league. Their win put them in with a decent shout on the playoff places, however, exactly a week after facing City, Grimsby made the trip to Whaddon Road and despite Cheltenham apparantly dominating, our local rivals won 3-0.

A 2-0 win in the LDV competition was followed by a 3-1 defeat at Darlington that was itself followed by a 2-0 defeat at home to Mansfield. However, Carlilse made the trip to Gloucestershire in the FA Cup and Cheltenham secured a tie against Oxford with a 1-0 victory. Their last outing saw them win 3-2 at Notts County
