Confident Imps thrash Coleraine
By Nathan Jackson July 14 2005
Gareth McAuley's returned to his former club and saw his current club win 4-0 on Thursday evening with a good performance. Reports are suggesting that tonight's game was a big improvement on the win over Sligo with promising performances from several of the new players.

The Imps apparantly oozed confidence and in a surprise change of styles, the Imps very rarely played the long ball forward. Luke Foster gave City the lead through another scrambled goal. Birch headed into the goal from a cross just minutes before Bloomer scored from the outside of the box. Asamoah rounded off the scoring with a confidently struck penalty.

However, the result wasn't the only big talking point. Dean Keates apparantly put in a man of the match performance as he ran the Coleraine defence ragged, good times ahead maybe?
