Imps and Cheltenham in bore draw
By Nathan Jackson
January 13 2004
The Imps and Cheltenham played out possibly one of the most boring games witnessed this season with only 2 decent scoring chances. The game wasn't helped though by the referee's constant stop-start-stop performance.
The first half was so devoid of chances that I can only recall one incident. Gary Fletcher ran one on one with the keeper and rounded him but his shot was deflected out for a corner.

Early in the 2nd half however City should have been awarded a penalty when Yeo rounded the keeper but was tripped but the inconsistant referee didn't even bother to wave away appeals.

Richardson then missed a golden oppurtunity as he rounded the keeper and shot towards the empty net but somehow hit the side netting.
