Marist 27-7 Phoenix
By Tony
October 26 2006
Rotherham Phoenix crashed to their second league defeat of the season by 27-7 away to Marist. Rotherham struggled against their older more physical opponents. However, ultimately only basics mistakes cost them the game and made the score line look more convincing.

Rotherham has found the step up to league rugby to be initially a large one. The age, experience and physicality of their opponents at the moment are proving the difference.

However Rotherham are not lacking confidence and are positive that they have enough quality about them, that when they do adjust to this new level, the results will come their way.
