FOOD & DRINK

As like with most new Stadiums, The Madejski Stadium is positioned out of town meaning there are little places to go and get something to eat and drink.

Located next to the stadium is Reading Gate Retail Park which has a number of fast food chains such as McDonalds, Pizza Hut and KFC.

If you are coming by train then there are plenty of places to eat in Reading Town Centre. This is a good idea because there is a Fast Track bus service from the train station direct to the Stadium and only takes 5 minutes. There are plenty of pubs to choose from. If you walk down to Friar Street then you will find a number of places to drink.

Of course there is the concourse inside the stadium. This sells a large range of food and drink. Though well over priced! Beer is also available with Fosters and Courage just a couple of brands available.
