STADIUM DIRECTIONS |
| By Car: From the North join the M4 or take the A34 from Oxford. From all directions turn off the M4 at junction 11, and head along the A33 towards Reading. If you're coming from the South then take the A33 which runs North into Reading. You can clearly see the ground from the here so you should be able to find your way from there!
By Train: Reading station is the closest to the Madejski Stadium. There have been plans put in place to build a rail link to Green Park which is located next to the Stadium. Although no date on the construction of this has been set. From Waterloo or Paddington you can easily make your way to Reading station. Once at the station you can hop onto the Fast Track buses that run every 7-8 minutes directly outside the station entrance. These will take you straight to the stadium. By Coach: Official club coaches are parked directly outside the away stand and will be there after the game. Police also make sure that coaches leave the stadium complex as quickly as possible to avoid too much traffic on exiting the stadium. Car Parking There are a number of car parks open for football supporters The Official Car Park can hold up to 2,000 cars but does get full pretty quickly! However the majority of spaces are pre booked and the club estimates only 500 will be available on a match day. It is £5 fee as well! After the game the car park can be a bit of a nightmare so if you want to get away as quickly as possible ten it is best to avoid this option. The HP Invent car park is located just off Junction 11 of the M4 and is well signposted, again a £5 fee but is much quicker to get out of and back on the motorway. The Smallmead Ground is also open on match days but is much smaller. This is a cheaper option at £3 but is not tarmac so if it is wet you may find your shoes and trousers get rather muddy! It is about a 5 minute walk from here to the stadium. Please try to avoid parking in any local housing estates, business parks and grass verges as you are likely to find yourself with a parking fine.
