Another Saturday another defeat, Its all becoming a bit too familiar for those of a Diamond persuasion.
Not for the first time this season we played the opposition off the park, in the first 45 at least. But once again we were shot shy in front of goal and paid the ultimate price for our shortcomings. We really should have had Queens dead and buried before the break and I'm sure that even the most fervent Doonhamers fans would have to agree that they stole the points.
That's three times this season that lot have beaten us and we have still to score a goal against them.
It appears that its now time to send in the Cavalry to save the day for us if all the latest rumours and newspaper articles are to be believed.
It is rumoured that Wee Doddie is to be installed as our new number two in our hour of need. I've got mixed feelings about this possible appointment. I cant believe that the wee man would wish to put his reputation on the line by stepping into the breach then again he might just enhance it if he was successful but I do feel that. Doddie has had his time and his memory at our club should be one that we should cherish. Report by Clan Chief
