How to get to Farrar Road, Bangor

Travel Directions

By Car: From A55 Holyhead-Chester expressway, take A5 turn into Bangor. Follow the A5 following signs for city centre. After 2 miles you will see Aldi on the LHS, and you will reach a roundabout. Carry straight on and pass over another roundabout, with the stadium now visible on LHS.

Public Transport

Trains:
Bangor is on the main Holyhead-Crewe Arriva Trains Wales line. Also trains direct to Manchester Picadilly with Virgin Trains.
Sea/Air: Good sea links with Dublin, Ireland, with the port of Holyhead just a 30 minute drive away. Rail links between Holyhead and Bangor are good and special combined ferry/rail tickets between Bangor and Dublin can be purchased and come highly recommended!
Nearest airports are Manchester and Liverpool, both are 2 hours away by car, and again rail links are superb.
Buses: No need to catch a bus to Farrar Road from City Centre. Arriva Cymru do long distance bus journeys to Aberystwyth on the X32 route, which links up with the Traws-Cambria Cardiff service. Bangor Bus Station is just a 5 minute walk from Farrar Road.
