Premiership rugby just keeps on getting more and more entertaining and Quins are in the thick of it. OK Saints kept their unbeaten record going with a 33-29 win at the cinch Stadium (aka Franklin's Gardens) but once agin rugby was the winner.
The new laws may be a part of it - specially having to restart from your own clearance kick - but there also seems a willingness to take a risk and entertain.
Marcus Smith certainly embodies that sentiment. His first start at full-back for Quins saw him running from everywhere. He scored two tries and he could have had a couple more after a lightning start from his side which saw Jack Walker cross in the first 90 seconds.
Quins were on top form in the first half going into a 22-14 lead at the break with Smith scoring twice.
Saints were a different side in the second half earning a penalty try, which saw Nick David binned for a high tackle on Ollie Sleightholme. The winger did cross shortly afterwards and Saint's fifth score from Sam Graham took the game away from Quins.
However, two bonus points were secured through a late try from Will Porter and a conversion from that man Smith.
