Hammer Blow

It was the wrong time to face Bristol on their own pitch. They hammered Ssaints last week and followed it by scoring seven tries against Quins in a 51-26 win.

Quins did get a bonus point as Cadan Murkey intercepted late in the game, but it wasn't enough to stop his side slipping to eighth in the table.

Jack Kenningham and Josh Bassett did cross in tge fitst half but the Quins' defence couldn't keep Harry Thacker, Gabriel Ibitoye and Semi Radradra out.

I was 31-12 at half-time, which was reduced as Kenningham crossed again only for Charles Piutau and Harry Randall to increase Bristol's advantage.

As Steve Borthwick can testify it was one of those weekends.
