The excitement continues. Quins once again took the win in the closing minutes as Marcus Smith's conversion broke Chiefs' hearts as it bounced over off the post to give us a 14-12 win.

It ended an epic game in appropriate style, but it was tough on the visitors  who had fought bravely with 14 men after Alec Hepburn was red carded for dumping Joe Marler head first. If the strict letter of the law had been obeyed Sam Simmonds would have joined him as they were both involved. Fortunately for the rest of the game, he wasn't.

So we were treated to blood and thunder rugby on a wet day where scoring a try almost demanded a life jacket.

We starter well scoring try through Luke Northmore who simply had to dive on a loose ball as Tyrone Green had the ball ripped by Stuart Hogg. It wasn't to be Tyrone's day as far as ball retention was concerned.

Exeter drew level at 7-7 courtesy of Henry Slade feeding off a tackle on Joe Simmonds .

Their pack revelled in the conditions and after a few failed attempts they finished of lineout drive, courtesy of Jack Innard, with Joe Simmonds failing to add the extras but nevertheless giving the 14 men the lead.

Surely numbers woule eventually tell in our favour and they finally did when Marcus Smith used a penalty advantage to kick for Andre Estherhuizen to score. Was the centre in front of the kick ... not accoridng tothe official watching the video. 

Not an easy kick from out on the left and Marcus needed the help of that post. We finished the day in third with Sarries only one point ahead after losing to Gloucester.
