The great entertainers begin the New Year looking to overcome Gloucester and their notorious Shed (Sunday 3.00 pm kick off). We will see the return to the starting XV of Hugh Tizard, Luke Northmore and Marcus Smith although it's doubtful such a  boost is needed after the tremendous win over Saints last week.

Tizard comes in for injured skipper Stephan Lewies with Alex Dombrandt taking over as skipper. Marcus Smith returns after his cautionary Covid isolation with last week's understudy Will Edwards returning to the bench.

Quins have an excellent recent against Gloucester who have picked up a little this season. The fortress that used to be Kingsholm doesn't quite have the fear for opposing teams as it once had - possibly because the artificial pitch is less suited to juggernaut packs.

Instead, the Cherry and Whites can boast some speedy backs in the ship of Louis Rees-Zammit, Chris Harris and Jonny May and it could be yet another festive cracker of a game. It certainly won't be low scoring.
