The hangovers are receding but the dust is refusing to settle after Quins delivered another immense performance to beat the much fancied Chiefs in the Premiership final. Both sides played at tremendous pace with lots of skill and commitment. You know the result - we won 40-38 - and after their five previous sucesses even the most die-hard Chiefs follower would admit we deserved it. As ever, and in particular, rugby was the winner.

Congratulations for winning the title in fairytale fashion, it was well deserved.
And thank you for breathing life back into the game of Rugby Union. The semi final and final were a joy to behold. It was wonderful to see Marcus Smith in sublime form along with your youngsters and older, more wisened players, and playing with the skills and verve that make it such an exciting game. It was especially fantastic at a time when so many coaches - national and domestic - are determined to suck the skills and freedom out of our sport for the mind numbing kick and chase of fear rugby, so long may you flourish.

Yes, you have to register to make a comment, but you should only need to do that once. All browsers seem to have some sort of password management/memory these days.You don't have to register to read the board.
