Harley/Charlie and the Big Drum is always a winner, it can be heard all around the Stoop

Now that the flags are back, for the sake of £3 each (less than a pint) lets get that blanket of colour of the 4 quarters going at the Stoop as looked so impressive at big Stoop

Given the 82,000 at Twickers for the London Irish match, I was surprised the gate at Kassam for the London Welsh match was below 5,000, of which say at least a third were 'home' supporters or local neutral spectators. The winning margin was just five points. Correlation? Had the Quibs support been greater the losing bonus point might not have been conceded (I know, it's the player on the pitch who do the work, not the crowd, but ... ). So where were you all?

I'm not forking out for a flag when I've left more free ones in pubs than I can remember.

Having said that, I've said for a long time that we're far too quiet as a crowd, but I daresay the the posters here and Quinssa members are not the problem. We need to get the people who come for a drink and a chat, and are barely interested in the game, to get involved. This will be easier said than done.

Perhaps people would stop leaving their seats five minutes before HT and FT. It is extremely annoying and must be off-putting for the team. Can these people also note that HT is usually 10 or 15 mins long, not 20 or 25! The kick-off time is always widely reported on here, the official website and in the press - remember it and leave enough time to get in to your place for the start of the match

All half times are now 15 minutes.

Was also at the London Welsh game (not in London) & without knowing the exact ratio of "home" to away fans, from what i could tell the majority of support was for Quins. Saying that our travelling support although noticibly increasing should be bigger. As for home games, very rarely is The Stoop full to capacity even if reported to be "sold out" beforehand. The South Stand especially often has many empty seats & doesn't seem to produce the same volume as the three older sides.

I've been thinking for a while about les miserables tunes.... I know... Bear with me.

In the LV Stand, I suspect that the reason so many people leave their seats 5 mins before half time, is so that they don't get caught in the scrum for the toilets. The architect responsible for that particular bit of the stand should be made to go for a pee at both half time and full time.

wow, do they actually sing it? that would be awesome.

the song seems a bit long but I wonder if we could incorporate the "I am, you are, we are Harlequins" element.

One way would be for it to be similar to the oggy oggy oggy wasps wasps wasps chant.

say Max or someone with a loud voice and no inhibitions sings

it would really need a rehearsed large section of the crowd to start this off say from thge pitch plus something in the programme maybe.

I like your suggestion TurndownthePA but wouldn't a coordinator be a better fan fixer, for want of a better expression ?

We really need some cohesion in our chants, if the north, east, west and south stands are all chanting in time as in the Semi last year it becomes a fantastic stadium chant.

Most times, it is a chant from different parts of the stands and becomes a garbled mixture of unrecognizable noise.

Could we not try something where, say the Etihad stand starts the chant the South take it up in time and we all follow around the stadium but in the same time.

Last year at the semi when Joe was in the middle of the rolling maul, we were all roaring in time and it was a glorious win.
