Quins Cycling Jerseys Now Available to Order

Quinssa had the idea, foska had the skills, the new Quins Cycling Jerseys were born!!!
Come on you Quins... Get on your bike and raise some money for charity. A number of Quins supporters are taking part in fundraising bike rides this year and Quinssa approached foska about doing a jersey. So here it is :o)
£10 from the sale of each jersey is going to support The Great British Bike Ride charities plus Wooden Spoon (see below)
Not going on the ride? Why not buy one anyway, they look great! Need some shorts? We will donate £5 for each pair of Foska shorts purchased with a Quins jersey.

There are three versions of the shirt:
- The classic road cyclist's jersey, designed for touring, training, racing or commuting
- The freeride cycling jersey offers a more casual style, perfect for riding to the pub, off-road adventures or whizzing down country lanes.

I think they look fantastic and I've even ordered one - not one of the skin tight ones I hasten to add.

They do look great. I may be tempted to forgo a jersey & get one of these instead! And now that summer is on its way & I can ride my bike, it might have to be a birthday pressie to myself!

Why is it Quinssa can come up with better merchandise than the club?
I'm not lazy, just old and techophobic - how much are they? I'll definitely have one ... I can save up to buy the push-bike later ...

to be fair, I think Prof worked closely with Bill Ford-Smith on this...
Tony Yerby is the chap who put it all together with the backing of BFS at Quins.
Ordered mine and will wear it on my daily commute. We might not win many new fans amongst the car drivers of central London....

I really like the look of these, but would love to see one in the flesh before committing to buy one. I'd like to know how tight the ladies' cycling ones come up because it would be cool to have a shirt in Quins' colours that actually fits properly!! The best ones I have are the kids' replica shirts I've bought.

you know what I look like,and I bought an XL free ride one, which I think will fit me reasonably well (not too snug)
by the looks of the sizing avid cyclists are all skinny...

A few pointers from someone who has a number of foska products:
The freeride shirt is square cut at the bottom like an old style rugby shirt would be & fits like that ie not tight but is still in wicking material. The "road jersey" is a normal road-race cycle jersey ie it has elastic in the waist to keep it in place so your kidneys keep warm when cycling.
For the Ladies' shirts, I've found them to be much the same as M&S sizing if that helps. One thing I would say is that because of the very different heights women can be, if you are 5'6 and over, then I'd either go up one size in the women's cut or head for men's sizes to make sure it's long enough if you're going to be cycling in it or if you want to make sure it covers below hipster jeans waistband.
For the freeride shirts, I'd say that a medium is around a 14-16 in M&S, a large is a 16-18.
If you work near Victoria, then Action Bikes there stock all the sizes. The other Action Bikes in Sheen, Wimbledon, Embankment and Whitton (0.85 miles from the Stoop) has some stock of road jerseys. Also some Evans cycles have them and also Harrods.
Will pop back again soon if there are any more questions.

Very tempted - can anyone compare sizing for the men's shirt with this season's home shirt ie is a men's large foska equivalent to a men's large koo-gaa?

Action cycles stock Foska kit so you may want to try them to check sizing in store (as I did in their victoria shop, not sure if Whitton has them tho) as Foska sizing can be generous. I have a 39/40 inch chest and the Foska medium (road top) fits fine. I also fit a medium kooga top.
This is great work by Quinsaa and all concerned. I'll be keeping an eye out for other supporters on my daily commute to Westminster.

My first post here - have to say that this is a cracking idea and a very nice design, Have ordered one and looking forward to sporting it on my commute through London.

ScubaChris, you could probably do without the 3/4 length zip and the back pockets if you're putting it on under a wetsuit.

Chris, the road version is the one with the pockets and the zip. I wouldn't...!

As a keen road cyclist i wish my club (Saints) would make some cycling lycra! These are a great idea.
Latest update - 81 sold and some shorts too, so that's about £850ish for charity

This is a great idea! Indeterminately barred from cycling due to major knee injury suffered nearly a year ago (protip... don't damage your knee in a fall 3 hours into a London-Paris ride and then complete said ride on a diet of codeine and pernod) but in the event that the knee recovers... I'll look!
In a year of not cycling I'd have gone from the small to the XL... d'oh.

I have to say that these are literally 'cool shirts"
I ve just returned from a holiday in France, I wore this in Carcassonne when the mercury hit close to 40C and I was delighted that it "wicked" very well, enabling me to still feel relatively cool despite the heat.
Jolly useful too for helping other members of my party to find me in the streets of the crowded old city

Now the sunny weather has arrived I thought I'd remind people about the Quinssa Cycling Shirts - great for cycling or just drinking, the choice is up to you!
Haven't stopped wearing it on the bike. Might have had a few more layers on too though!

I have the freeride one, now looks a little big as I've riden around 1,500 miles in it so far.
Might go and pick up one of the proper cycling jerseys for the summer now.

The rear pockets don't have zips. However, they are deep/tight enough to store phones/wallets in. I sometimes wear my on my 12 mile ride to work, with I-phone, wallet etc in the back and it's not a problem.
You could probably get a small pump into one of the pockets.

Yes they do! The right-hand side pocket of my ladies' cycling shirt has a zip on the side. The other two don't.
They really are great. Do you buy your normal size when ordering or do you go up a size?
How strange - I have the road version and I am sure it doesn't have a zip - I will have to check.
Harley Quin - I think go for the normal size - the freeride is loose fitting the road one is tight
I have a short 'mini' pump (about length of hand) and it sits well in pockets with wallet, phone, etc, without being uncomfortable, or showing obvious signs that it might fall out of the pocket it gets thrown in
My mistake - it does have a zip and a small pocket which could fit one of a wallet/phone. It's not very big though. I have a XXL (but I am massive) and it's a good tight fit. In all, they are not bad quality and a must for any quins cyclists.
I love mine and I've never been anywhere near a bicycle in it! It's comfy, it's far nicer than the newest replica shirts and it takes about 10 minutes to dry after being in the wash! Top purchase
I wore mine for yesterday's Hell of the North Cotswolds 100k endurance event and I had many complimentary comments from fellow riders who liked the shirt.
And it has to be said that many were from the lady riders!

Just spotted the dates on the earlier posts on this thread, was having a massive dose of deja vue until I sussed it out, was getting spooky.
Spotted one of these being worn just after 8am this morning by a cyclist on the South Bank just passing the London Eye.
Must say they look great, except fot the funny colours and the weird clown thing

Presume it was the same one that @QuinsRugbyUnion on Twitter spotted in the New Kings Road a bit later.

Could have been me on the South Bank, went past the Eye at about 8.05am heading East. I didn't go near the New King's Road though.
