Quinssa Meet the Playing Squad - Tuesday 18th August at 6:30

Quinssa is delighted to announce a “Meet the Playing Squad” evening on Tuesday 18th August 2009 at the Twickenham Stoop. Yes, you read that correctly – it’s the Squad! The club has kindly agreed that the entire Quins Squad (subject to injuries and illness) will be there and members of the coaching staff along with John Kingston and Collin Osborne.
We will have already seen some of the players in action against Connacht and at the Middlesex 7s as well as in South Africa and in the Churchill Cup.
So this is a really great chance to talk to the players who have joined Quins this year and those who have been promoted from the Academy - as well as those “old favourites” who we know from past seasons.
The evening will be in the form of an informal Q&A session and we have allowed plenty of time for you put your questions and to hear the players’ views.
The evening will open at 6:30 and the bar will close at 10pm.
This event is being held during the pre-season period (necessary in order that players’ concentration is not sidetracked during the normal season) and we expect it to be very popular. In order for us to determine the logistics (which room to use, how many bar staff are needed, seating, etc.) we ask that you email john@hartleywalford.com to let us know whether you are planning to attend – and how many!
As always, entry is free to Quinssa members and you may bring guests as well (non-members entry is a mere £3).
There will be the usual raffle with all proceeds going to the Quinssa Academy Fund.
Wednesday 12th August is the deadline for letting us know how many will be in your party but early responses would be even more helpful.

Although, to lighten the mood slightly, perhaps Will Skinner could attend in boxing gloves accompanied by a very sawdusty plank.
I m sure there will be plenty to discuss!
Team unable to get public bus from days training session or something!!

Let's concentrate on seeing the boys model the new jersey & playing a game of rugby, after all, that's all they want to do.
With about 200 people coming it would be quickest if you could have your form filled out and a crisp £5 note (or £10 if you want to join for two years)

A few days ago I was concerned that this event may be cancelled give all the hype and controversy surounding the club. Thanks to quinsaa, the club and the players for sticking with it.
I really do hope we can now draw a line under all thats gone before. The players I spoke to last night seamed as positive as ever.
