The London Double Header (LDH) now appears to be firmly fixed in our calendar. As with previous years it is time to get our act together if we want to enjoy the day fully.

Our first home game is not at the Madejski stadium but at Twickenham on Saturday the 2nd September when we take on our ex-landlords, Harlequins. After our game Saracens take on Wasps. No doubt we'll have at least a car park party organised, if we get our act together, perhaps even more. It always has been and promises to be a grand day out.

London Irish have blocks of allocated seating but those of you who know HQ will know that even if you are sitting in adjoining blocks it can feel like you are miles away from those you know. Between us we've devised a cunning plan. It goes something like this.

By the end of June (30th June - shouting for any of you at the back who haven't been listening) any season ticket holder with a form and voucher sends it to Mrs Goz. The form must be fully completed and have the relevant voucher. We need to know the age of any children if they are under five.

The plan is that we will sit in the East stand. If you don't like the sound of drums now is the time to stop reading this and book yourself seats in any other stand.

Now here's the cunning part. If you are not a season ticket holder but wish to join us there are two ways of doing it. If you know a season ticket holder who is joining this scheme arrange with that person to apply for tickets on your behalf.

Now, if you are a STH who has say five different people asking to join us, you have a bit of work to do as well. Mrs Goz has plenty on her hands as it is. We need and want you to take responsibility for those you are sponsoring. In short, get these five people to pay you and then send the form to Mrs Goz with a cheque from yourself. One cheque per form only, made out to Rugby Football Union.

If you do not know a season ticket holder you have two options. Either post a message on the board and we'll see if we can help you or simply send your cheque (made out to the RFU) with your personal details to Claire and she will allocate you a ticket in our block - if you have any seating preferences you can send them too and she will try and accomodate you - don't get upset if she can't match everyone up though.
