The Wasps Supporters Association will be hosting “An Evening With Tony Spreadbury And Others” on Tuesday 27th April, between the hours of 6.30pm and 10.30pm, in the very heart of the City. The venue for this event is the Museum of London, in the Barbican Centre. Arriving from 6.30pm, we have the sole use of the reception areas and upper galleries for an hour, where there will be a cash bar available, to meet and greet old and new friends. Food is not provided, but there will be crisps and nibbles available. There will be the opportunity to enter a raffle for a number of interesting prizes.

At 7.30pm, we will move into the Lecture Theatre, where, for two hours, we will be entertained by ‘Spreaders’, with a mixture of anecdotes and questions.

At 9.30pm, we move out into the Lord Mayor’s Coach Gallery, where there will be two cash bars available, for a further hour, before collecting cloaks and setting off home. The raffle will be drawn during this time.

As well as Spreaders, John Langley, President of Wasps FC, will also be in attendance. John will explain how the amateur club has benefited from the donations given to it by the travelling supporters.

Several of the London Wasps players and coaching staff are making the Trek Iceland trip on behalf of the National Deaf Children’s Society and some of them will be present during the evening to give a brief talk on why this is so important.

Further donations will be presented to both these speakers.

The tickets for this event are £15 per person, including entrance into a draw for a London Wasps shirt signed by the players, organised by Will Green. This draw is exclusive to ticket holders. Tickets are limited to 260, and will be issued on a first come first served basis, applications to be sent by email to k.broadbent@btinternet.com where they will be dealt with. If you are one of the lucky applicants, ticketing and payment details will be returned to you.

All the profits from this evening, including the raffle, will be donated in full to the Trek Iceland Challenge.

Attendees are advised that the Museum of London is a non-smoking environment, and it is also not permitted to take food or drink into the Lecture Theatre. This modern building is easily reached by public transport from anywhere in the Home Counties. There is an NCP car park adjacent to the Museum. We are also pleased to confirm that it has dedicated wheelchair facilities in all the areas we will be utilising. Parking for registered disabled drivers can be arranged if required.
