Big New Signing

How reassuring to know that, despite all the financial issues surrounding Wasps, Wuss and others, Lee Blackwell still very much has his eye on the ball. The signing of 6ft 7inch lock Cameron Dodson is just the positive statement we need.

The 25-year-old athlete has been playing at Austin in Texas. He has  impressed in training and will sharpen himself up on loan at Ampthill. But with Elliott Stooke still recovering from his broken leg and James Gaskell and Vaea Fifita leaving during the summer he could well feature sooner rather than later.

Regardless, he has got us all back talking about the new season, which is more than welcome. 

Cameron, who weas born in England, joins fellow summer signings Kiran McDonald, Vincent Koch, John Ryan, Burger Odendall and Will Haydon-Wood.
