With so many injuries two points against a resurgent Worcester may not be too bad a result. However, it could have been even better with Jimmy Gopperth just failing with a conversion attempt from out wide..

In all there werer 18 players unvailable to the coaches as we went down 32-31.

The game was as tight as the scoreline suggests with a late burst from  Wasps after Tom Willis went over.

The first half belonged to the home side with  tries from Gareth Simpson, Duhan van der Merwe,Ted Hill and Will Chudley.

We went in 25-14 down at the break with Vaea Fifita and Dan Frost crossing. We then had the better of the second half with Dan Frost scoring againt before that late effort from Tom Willis.

 

Europe next week with Munster visiting on Sunday. Hopefully, the physio room won't be so busy .
