Disastrous Second Half

Leading 13-10 at the break we hoped that Wasps had finally regained their form. Sadly, it was not to be as Chiefs ran in five unanswered second half tries to win 43-13.

Lee Blackett, who must be secretly tearing his hair our, is quoted as saying fitness was not an issue.

"We rolled over far too easily. We are fit enough to play 80 minutes, and that scoreline shouldn't have been that way.

"We don't want to be a team that plays in fits and starts - we want to be a team that plays for 80 minutes."

Chiefs: Tries: Hogg 2, Devoto, Hill, Cordero, Francis, Jack Simmonds Conversions: J Simmonds 4.

WaspsTries: Bassett. Conversions: Umaga Pens: Umaga 2

To paraphrase Basil Fawlty
Basil: Can't we get you on Mastermind, Lee?
Next contestant Lee Blackett from Coventry, special subject the bleeding obvious.
