Looking for a fun, friendly and fast-paced way to stay active this summer? The Summer of Touch is back for 2025 – and it’s shaping up to be our biggest and best yet.       Friday 02 May 2025Written by: Tom Grisedale

Kicking off on Wednesday May 28, this exciting 8-week mixed touch rugby league is perfect for businesses, clubs, or social groups looking for a bit of healthy competition and a lot of fun. Whether you’re playing for pride, fitness, or just for laughs, this is a great way to enjoy the summer evenings with friends or colleagues.

We’ve summed up the key things you need to know below:

  • Start Date: Wednesday May 28.
  • Finals Night: Friday July 18
  • Time: Games begin from 6.30pm
  • Format: 6-a-side, mixed teams (men & women)
  • Ages: 16+
  • Open to: Businesses, clubs, and social groups
  • Cost: £240 per team (for a squad of 10, that’s just £3 per player per night!)

And to top it off, finals night includes trophy presentations and food, all included in the entry fee – a great way to wrap up the season in style.

Whether you’re new to touch rugby or a returning regular, this is a brilliant opportunity to get active, meet new people, and enjoy some friendly competition in a relaxed and inclusive environment.

Places are limited, so get your team together and sign up today!
