Highly rated young goalkeeper who was signed from Glasgow City BC in December 1995.

Jamie made his first team debut as a 16 year old against Dumbarton in a League Cup tie in 1996.

He played twice in 1999-2000, coming on as a sub for the injured Robert Douglas at Pittodrie and starting a league game for the first time against Kilmarnock at Dens the following week.

His progress was rewarded with a call up for the Scotland under 21 squad and he kept a clean sheet on his debut at this level as Scotland beat Wales 1-0 in May 2000.

Jamie made a couple of appearances following the initial departture of Rab to Celtic, however Ivano installed the more experienced Marco Roccati as the first choice.

Despite some speculation linking Jamie with a move away from Dens he continued to work at getting into the side and his patience was rewarded with a string of games towards the end of the season.

This season has seen Jamie installed as the clubs first choice keeper following the departure of Marco Roccati during the summer.

Some inspired performances in the early part of the season saw a call up to the full Scotland squad.

Jamie is a natural shot stopper, however still has to work at cross ball's and needs to take more command of the penalty area.
