Joined Dundee in March 2001 on a two and a half year contract.

The highly rated youngster was interesting several big English sides including Arsenal and Fulham as well as Ajax Amsterdam but chose to join the Dark Blues.

A large factor in his decision was that his International captain Giorgi Nemsadze was already at Dens.

Rated at £7 million by previous club Lokomotiv Tblisi, Zura joined Dundee after FIFA declared him a free agent as Tblisi went bust.

Zura was his country's youngest ever International when he made his debut at 17 and has accumulated 12 caps whilst still only 19.
