Wanderers loan star and French World Cup hopeful Youri Djorkaeff did his chances of representing his country no harm at all when he fired a hat trick in their latest warm up game. World Cup and European Championship medal winner Djorkaeff scored three goals as France romped to a 5-1 victory over Japanese first division side Urawa Reds.
Djorkaeff orginally moved to the Reebok in a bid to reclaim his place in the French team which he lost while involved in a bust up at German club Kaiserslautern and seems to be succeeding in his battle.
Negotiations to keep Djorkaeff at Bolton next season began once Bolton's safety was confirmed but will now continue once his part in the World Cup has come to an end.
