Veteran goalkeeper Kevin Poole has penned a new one year deal with Bolton Wanderers as he battles with Finnish international Jussi Jaaskelainen for the number one shirt at the Reebok. Poole, who was signed midway through last season, has impressed Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce enough to reward him with his new contract.
Poole arrived as back up to Jussi Jaaskelainen and Steve Banks but found himself in the front line when Jaaskelainen was injured and also served a suspension as Banks was unavailable due to him being on loan at Third Division Rochdale.
