Wanderers loan midfielder Youri Djorkaeff has announced that he will retire from international football following this summer's World Cup where it is expected he will play in his second World Cup for present holders France. Djorkaeff originally moved to the Reebok in an attempt to be recalled to the French squad, hoping to play in the World Cup which it looks like he will achieve after a period of discontent at German outfit Kaiserslautern.
It is hoped that Djorkaeff, who has had a tremendous impact since arriving in England, will repay the favour paid by Bolton by staying at the Reebok for at least another season.
