Tofting off to the Far East

Bolton Wanderers midfielder Stig Tofting has been announced in the Danish squad for the upcoming World Cup in Japan and Korea which begins at the end of this month. Tofting has only played 5 matches for the Wanderers due to injury but he has done enough to endear himself to the Reebok faithful and also impress his national coach.
However, there was heartbreak for fellow Wanderers and Denmark midfielder Per Frandsen after he was left out of the squad for the World Cup.
