Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce was vented his fury at the French Football Association following Bernard Mendy's broken leg which he picked up in a practice match for the French Under 21 team prior to a meaningless Under 21 friendly. Allardyce believes the club should be given compensation for the injury as he scours the world for a quick replacement. The injury has put Mendy's possible permanent move to Bolton (he is on loan from Paris St Germain) in doubt despite several impressive performances in recent games.
