Stranraer record a solid win with goals with a brace of goals for Michael Moore and Kevin Finlayson over a poor East Stirling side.

STRANRAER

4-0

EAST STIRLING

Moore (19, 52)
Finlayson (67, 89)
(1-0)

Stranraer wiped the floor clean with a poor East Stirling side and could easily have scored three more goals.

The Blues went ahead in the 20th minute through a Michael Moore tap-in from Lee Sharp corner. Despite continued pressure from the Stranraer strikers, the home side was unable to add to their tally in the first half.

However, the floodgates opened in the second half when Moore added his second with a powerful low header into the goal, despite the box swarming with East Stirling players.

Fifteen minutes later Moore setup Kevin Finlayson with an arching cross. Finlayson spectacularly volleyed the ball high into the visitors net.

Finlayson got his brace in the closing minute of the match when he connected with a deep Lee Sharp cross at the back post and hammered the ball home.

Men of the Match- Michael Moore and Kevin Finlayson, for providing the firepower to easily gather three points.

Overall Summary- Enjoyable football!
