Injury prone top scorer David Kitson is set to go under the surgeons knife in a bid to stop his on-going injury problems, read on to find out more. Leading scorer David Kitson is to have surgery on his mysterious hip and groin injury. The ginger forward has been kept out for large parts of the season with his phantom injury. The operation he is to undertake is called a laparoscopy. The surgeon has performed this surgery on 66 footballers, having roughly an 85% success rate. We wish David Kitson the best of luck, and hope he comes back at his brilliant best.
