Gareth Breese had fought his way back from injury and been rewarded with a place in the 14 man squad for todays Carib Beer match with Barbados. Breese hasn't played in the competition yet this season but did come through a Junior cup match earlier in the week with no problems. Breese bowled 30 overs for his club Lucas against Kingston last weekend, taking six wickets in the match. Breese trained with the Jamaican squad yesterday and looked to have come through the session with no ill effects.

Jamaica currently lead the Carib Beer Cup by 18 points and need just six more from the last two matches to guarantee themselves the top spot and the right to host the challenge final which will take place from March 18th to 22nd.

Jamaica's opponents in this round are Barbados who are the defending champions but are currently in last place after one of their worst seasons on record. They welcome back Tino Best who has been out injured since the WI tour of England last summer.
